Orientation Session Scheduled Jan 12 for Neighborhood Grants Program

An open orientation session for interested parties seeking a grant through the Valley Neighborhood Grant Program will take place on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Derby Public Library, 313 Elizabeth Street in Derby.

Community Foundation staff will discuss expectations and review the application form and process at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The Valley Neighborhood Grant Program distributes grants to groups working in the Lower Naugatuck Valley to motivate and leverage civic engagement efforts across the community. Click here for guidelines and an application for the 2010 grants process. Applications are due by noon on Monday, February 1, 2010.
