VCF gives $1,000 to Derby Based Ambulance Corps

The Storm Engine Company Ambulance Corps. in Derby received a gift of $1,000 from the Valley Community Foundation and two of its funds, the Jane & David Cohen Family Fund and the Cohen-DeToro Charitable Fund. The gift was made in honor of Corps. co-founder Edward Cotter Jr. who, with the Rev. Thomas Berberich, was inducted into the Connecticut Firefighters Hall of Fame this month.
