ANSONIA — Children in the Tinney Community Center’s summer drama program entertained the audience Friday (July 29th) as they performed “The Traveling Magnificent Angel’s Tales” at the Tinney Center.
Dressed in colorful shirts, and in hats decorated with animals, they acted in a collection of scenes depicting legends in nature.
In some scenes, they represented the relationship of natural elements, including the sun or water.
For example, Ryanne Thomas, 10, played the role of Sky, who had an argument with Earth, played by Silver Daniels.
Connor Chebro and Crisalin Long portrayed the friendship between Water and the Sun.
In other scenes, their stories described the cleverness or wickedness of some of nature’s creatures.
The performance, directed by Edi Jackson, was funded by the Valley Neighborhood Grants Program.
