VCF awards $136K to Valley Nonprofits

Shelton, CT (October 20, 2009) - The Valley Community Foundation announces that $136,143 has been awarded to 30 nonprofits providing services in Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, Shelton and Oxford, CT through the Foundation's 2nd annual competitive grants process. Grants were awarded across a broad spectrum of community interests, including arts and culture, education, food and shelter, community development and health services.
