Many nonprofit professionals are promoted or hired for supervisory positions without specific training in supervision. Planned for nonprofit supervisors in their first two years in that role, this workshop will concentrate on essential supervisory skills, strategies for effective communication with staff and senior management, responding constructively in difficult situations, and promoting teamwork to accomplish the organization's mission.
