Gregory Stamos, Esq.


Gregory (Greg) J. Stamos, Esq. has been an attorney for four decades with a law practice in his home town of Ansonia. His involvement in Valley-serving organizations has been wide-ranging and diverse.

He has served in various civic capacities, which include: Corporator for both the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley and Griffin Hospital, President of the Board of Directors for Valley United Way, and, for the City of Ansonia as a member of the Historic District Commission and Commissioner of the Housing Authority. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Valley YMCA, Birmingham Mental Health Center (now BHcare), and most notable, was a former Board Chair for the Valley Community Foundation, where he now is fulfilling a second term.

A Gold Seal Award recipient presented by the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce for civic contributions, Greg has additionally been recognized as a Valley YMCA Volunteer of the Year.

Greg is a graduate of Ansonia High School, the University of Connecticut, and Villanova Law School.
