One of the most effective ways the Valley Community Foundation (VCF) impacts the Valley is through grant distribution to qualified organizations from unrestricted, preference or field of interest, Donor Advised, and designated funds that carry out donor charitable intentions, respond to needs, and anticipate community opportunities. Below is a list of the competitive grant opportunities at VCF. Each grant process is unique and has specific requirements.
Valley Community Foundation Grant Processes
|Valley Community Grants||Civic engagement grants to community groups and organizations; grants range from $250 to $2,500.||5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2020||Online|
|Valley Needs and Opportunities Grants||Grants for innovative programs and emergency needs; grants range from $250 to $10,000.||Rolling||Online|
Flexible funding for general operating, programmatic or capacity building needs.
Grant awards $7,500 and above.

Program is for direct service programs; Capacity Building is for organizational infrastructure improvement.
