Bevon McLean


Attorney Bevon McLean was appointed to a seven-year term on the Valley Community Foundation’s (VCF) Board of Directors in January of 2024. Prior to being on the Board, he served on VCF’s Board Advisory Council.

McLean holds a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, an MBA from Quinnipiac School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Albertus Magnus College.

McLean operates his own boutique law firm, McLean Law PLLC, in Shelton. His practice focuses on various areas, including Business/Corporate and Nonprofit Law, Real Estate, and Trust & Estate Planning. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport, teaching courses in business law and business planning.

Before establishing his law firm, McLean enjoyed a successful career in mortgage banking, holding, among other positions, the position of Assistant Vice President for several prominent institutions such as Bank of America, SunTrust Banks, M&T Bank, Wells Fargo, among others.

McLean lives in Derby and his four children attend Derby schools.
